Laura Gale started practicing yoga as a form of
cross training while training for her first marathon, and soon
grew to appreciate the calming and centering effects it had on
her life outside of running. As a social worker working with
trauma issues for more than 15 years, Laura is interested in the
connection between the mind, the body, and the spirit/emotions,
and has found that yoga is the best way of integrating all three
aspects of the human experience. Laura loves teaching beginners,
and her classes focus on the development of mind/body awareness
through the breath and proper alignment. Laura has completed her
teacher training through YogaWorks, and is certified with Yoga
Alliance as an RYT.

Jane Lee began practicing Yoga nine years ago.
Her line of work in the entertainment industry was highly stressful.
She used Yoga as a complete tool to escape. She realized she
wanted to give back what Yoga gave to her...a better health,
peace of mind, and strength. So she began to teach a style of
yoga called Vinyasa flow, which is a blend of breath and movement.

Anna Bazalar - Anna began her study in gymnastics at the age of 8 and continued her entire life as an all around athlete. She loves to hike, snowboard, swim, and travel just about anywhere, anytime. She was introduced to yoga in 2001, however it wasn’t until her knee injury in 2006 where she began to make yoga her main focus. In her process of rehabilitation, she quickly fell in love with it's calming, balancing, and healing benefits. In addition, she was immediately drawn to the spiritual aspects of yoga; It felt true and authentic. A feeling that was reinforced as she gained a deeper understanding of yoga and how it relates to every day life. Anna says that the obstacles she finds on the mat help one gain wisdom, peace, strength, and good energy...it is an amazing feeling to carry all that off your mat and share it with the rest of the world.
Yoga has helped her realize a calm, relaxed, happy way of being, and it is her intention to share the same experience with her students. Anna aspires to help students not just physically, but also experience a sense of inner peace on a spiritual and mental level. She believes yoga can be for anyone despite his or her age or fitness level and can be a life changing practice. |
